Dr. Matthew Kapraun

Dr. Alex Wolfe - Upper Cervical Chiropractor in Metamora, MI

Dr. Matthew Kapraun, originally from the Flint area, brings over 8 years of chiropractic experience to our practice. After spending much of his career in Archbold, Ohio, he is excited to return to Southeast Michigan, where he can offer his specialized care closer to family while raising his son, Lux.

Dr. Kapraun is a Flint-area native and Flushing High School graduate. He received his Bachelors with a concentration in pre-professional Health Sciences from Oakland University. He then obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

Dr. Kapraun, having a father who is also a Palmer-educated chiropractor, was raised to understand and appreciate the natural healing abilities of the human body. This understanding is what drew him to the practice of chiropractic, specifically the Blair Upper Cervical Technique. Dr. Kapraun has received advanced training in a variety of techniques, including: Blair Upper Cervical Technique, Activator Method, and Sacral-Occipital Technique. Following this approach he finds that he can usually see patients less often than traditional techniques while still maintaining results. For more on the Blair Upper Cervical Technique, Click HERE

He received mentorship from Dr. Todd Hubbard during his time at Palmer and from Dr. Joe Targonski during his time practicing at Archbold Chiropractic Center, both highly respected doctors in the Blair community. His practice experience has given him a unique perspective caring for patients with a variety of complex conditions, helping to facilitate improved activity levels and elevated quality of life. Dr. Kapraun serves patients in the Lapeer, Metamora, Oxford, Lake Orion communities as well as the surrounding areas.

Dr. Kapraun’s focus and passion in the office is always centered on the patient and their health goals. He strives to bring a better quality of life to the community that he cares for while offering them the tools to maintain their own wellness outside of the office.

Outside of the office, Dr. Kapraun enjoys spending his time outside whenever possible with his son. They especially enjoy camping, fishing, and gardening through the summer.
